  1. Design the API: Identify the data your API will handle and define the endpoints (the URLs the client will access) and the corresponding HTTP methods.
  2. Build the API: Write the server-side code to handle the client’s requests. This usually involves interacting with a database to retrieve, create, update, or delete data.
  3. Test the API: Use a tool like Postman or curl to send requests to your API and ensure it’s behaving as expected.
